Help & support
How can we help?
For questions, bug reports, or feedback, email support+skeina@sneawo.com. Include what you were trying to do and what happened.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open Skeina, tap the crown, and choose Restore Purchases in the subscription screen. Make sure the device uses the same Apple Account that made the purchase.
Where are my patterns stored?
Patterns, source photos, PDF-export state, chart position, and stitch progress are stored locally on your device. Saved work appears in My Patterns.
Why does my pattern use fewer colors than the limit?
The selected number is a maximum. Similar shades in the photo may match the same DMC thread, so the generated pattern can use fewer colors.
Why was the background not removed?
Background isolation looks for a clear foreground subject. Try a tighter crop, choose a photo with clearer separation between the subject and background, and use Redo. If no reliable subject is found, Skeina keeps the full photo.
How do I export a PDF?
Open a generated pattern, use the share button, and choose PDF options. Select A4 or US Letter paper and the printed square size, then export. The first PDF export is free and watermark-free.
Can I recover a deleted pattern?
Deleting a pattern removes its locally stored photo, chart, and progress. Skeina does not keep a cloud copy, so deleted patterns cannot be restored by support.
